Answer

During the installation, you will certainly face some particular cases:

  • “Warm” rooms with higher temperatures (fireplaces, kitchen hoods...)

In such circumstances, please note that using the profile C10 and C11 is recommended (see pricelist). They are thicker and bimaterial, allowing a better hang and a higher stability in such cases.

  • Humid rooms (bathrooms, spas, swimming pools...); keep an eye on the ventilation system and provide an air access if needed.

CLIPSO does not recommend the fitting of fabrics inside hammams or saunas.

For all your particular projects, do not hesitate to contact your sales reprensentative which will assist you on selecting the best solution for your project.

Regarding the fitting of CLIPSO fabrics on your walls, except for the profiles (CCA, CC, C6 or other framing profiles), the process remain the same as for a ceiling.

Tip: fit the soundproof padding ref. LA-53 between the wall and the fabric, or any other insulation padding.

  • it brings an extra protection between the wall and the fabric
  • it allows to erase the asperities of the wall
  • it enhances the acoustic and insulating properties of the room
  • the touch will be softer
