Pose tended ceilings Clipso

CW frame :

The CW frame (Clipso wall) is fixed directly to the wall, at the desired height (figure 01).
Cut the frames to the right length, using a mitre-cutting saw for the corners (figure 02).

Fixing on a wood surface :

 

• screw the frame directly onto the wood support using wood screws (size 4x20)

Fixing to “plasterboard, plaster+brick, concrete and metal” supports :

 

• spread a continuous, even layer of contact adhesive on the CW frame ;
• place the frame coated with contact adhesive in the desired position ;
• remove the frame and leave it to dry for 5 to 10 minutes (depending on the type of adhesive) ;
• put the frame back into the desired position, using pressure (readjust if necessary) ;
• screw the frame using 5.5x38 size screws on “plasterboard” supports ;
• drill 6 mm diameter holes, then use rawplugs with screws on “brick” supports ;
• drill 6 mm diameter holes, then use dowels and nails on “concrete” supports ;
• self-tapping screws (on metal supports).

 

Note : one screw every 15cm, on pre-drilled frames.

 

CC frame :

The CC frame (Clipso ceiling) is fixed directly onto the existing ceiling (figure 03).
Cut the frames to the right length, using a mitre-cutting saw for the corners (figure 04).


Fixing to a wood surface :

 

• screw or staple the frame directly onto the support using wood screws (size 4x20), with one screw every 30cm.

Fixing to “plasterboard, plaster+brick, concrete and metal” supports:

 

• spread a continuous, even layer of contact adhesive on the CC frame ;
• place the frame coated with contact adhesive in the desired position ;
• remove the frame and leave it to dry for 5 to 10 minutes (depending on the type of adhesive) ;
• put the frame back into the desired position, using pressure (readjust if necessary) ;
• screw the frame using 5.5x38 size screws on “plasterboard” supports ;
• drill 6 mm diameter holes, then use rawplugs with screws on “brick” supports ;
• drill 6 mm diameter holes, then use dowels and nails on “concrete” supports ;
• self-tapping screws (on metal supports).

 

Note : use an extra screw close to the frame joints (figure 05)
Take care not to fix the frame in a place that cannot be easily accessed later on with the spatula.
