Answer

There are two important steps in preparing the site ; following these steps will lead your project to a success.

The first step consists in fitting the tracks all around the perimeter of the room. The fixation profiles, especially designed for this use, should be ordered with the fabrics if no stock is hold.

  • Before starting, check precisely the state of the actual ceiling. If it is damaged, remove the unstable part, to avoid it falling once the ceiling will be on. If necessary, place a protecting net.
  • When you plan the installation of light devices, ventilation or anything else, think about the height you will need for these inclusions (see page 6 of technical notice)
  • You can now fix your profiles: please use the holes already made. Be particularly vigilant when joining two sections, in the length or in the corners (add screw in the corners to strengthen the fixation). For more details, please refer to the attached technical notice (“fitting a ceiling”).
  • Next step of the installation is the installation of spot holders and any required preparation. Check your electrical connections before stretching the fabric.
  • Regarding the air conditioners, please check the air tightness of actual installations.

The second step concerns the cleaning and the protection. It is recommended to work in a clean environment. Protect the floors and furniture to avoid dirtying the fabric. Be also particularly vigilant to any shaping object which could damage the covering.
